The history of the Four Cousins brand began with the Van Loveren family who has owned land in the Robertson area since 1937.
The first muscadel wine was made by Hennie Snr in 1939. The Four Cousins range was launched in 2000, initially in 1.5 litre bottles. Today, the Four Cousins range is now South Africas biggest-selling bottled brand. A mellow drink, this sweet white wine is meticulously blended from white cultivars and grape juice. First Cousins Sweet White is a pleasant, fragrant white wine made from Muscat Ottonel (60% White Muscadel, 40% Grape Juice).
